A domesticated turkey caused “quite the traffic disturbance” in Zanesville, Ohio, after venturing out and deciding “to sit in the middle of the road,” the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) said on March 3.

A local trooper arrived at the scene and carefully lifted the bird up and off the roadway, before “it strutted back home,” OSHP said. Credit: Ohio State Highway Patrol via Storyful
