Winds Whip Up Sea Spray and Rough Surf as Hurricane Humberto Arrives in Bermuda

Hurricane Humberto brought high winds and rough surf to Bermuda as the edges of the Category 3 storm arrived at the island on September 18.

The National Hurricane Center warned of potential flooding in Bermuda from “storm surge and dangerous breaking waves,” and said “a prolonged period of dangerous winds” was anticipated through Thursday.
