Woman Airlifted to Hospital After Being Impaled by Parasol on Maryland Beach

A woman was airlifted to hospital after being impaled by a parasol on a beach in Maryland on Sunday, July 22.

The 54-year-old woman from Pennsylvania was injured just after 3pm near 54th street in Ocean City, ABC7 reported. Her condition was described as non life-threatening after firefighters managed to remove all but a small piece of the wooden pole from her skin, the report said.
