New York Police Officer Rescues Fawn Trapped in Well

An officer with the West Seneca Police Department came to the rescue of a fawn trapped in a well on Friday, July 3.

According to police, Officer Carr responded to reports of a trapped deer in the window well of a residence on Union Road on Friday evening.

Video released by police shows officer Carr use animal handling gloves to lift the fawn out of the well. Police said the rescue took over 25 minutes. Credit: West Seneca Police Department via Storyful
