Ambitious Green Tree Frog Tries to Eat Australian Woman's Hand

An ambitious Australian green tree frog bit onto more than it could chew outside a Queensland property on November 16, trying to devour a woman’s finger after she offered it a bug to eat.

Resident Penny Kerr recorded this video and originally posted it to Facebook. In the caption Kerr wrote, “Beware when feeding frogs bugs—they might try and eat you instead.”

The video shows Kerr offering the little frog a live bug. It seems uninterested at first, then it suddenly jumps to swallow the bug and Kerr’s finger. Kerr struggles to remove the determined frog as she continues to record. Credit: Penny Kerr via Storyful
