Black Bear Strolls Through Neighborhood Near Orlando

A black bear was spotted strolling around a residential area in Apopka, Florida – near Orlando – on October 20.

Cody Fitzpatrick recorded this video showing the bear walking across lawns and told Storyful he spotted the bear while getting ready to leave for work.

“It barely paid any attention to me and headed off down the street as if it were just out for a morning walk,” Fitzpatrick said.

According to the City of Apopka, the municipality is located near several state parks, and it is not unusual to see bears in residential areas near woods. Credit: Cody Fitzpatrick via Storyful
