British Columbia Town Blanketed in Smoke as Wildfire Rages

The town of Osoyoos in British Columbia was smothered by smoke on August 2, as the Nk’Mip Creek wildfire continued to rage.

According to the British Columbia Wildfire Service the blaze reached an estimated 13,000 hectares (32123.7 acres) and remained uncontained as of Monday.
