More than 500 people attended a candlelight vigil at Bridgewood Church in Clarkston, Michigan, on December 1, in honor of four students killed in a shooting at Oxford High School on Tuesday.
Footage from the ceremony shows mourners holding candles at the service in memory of Hana St Juliana (14), Tate Myre (16), Madisyn Baldwin (17), and Justin Shilling (17).
According to WXYZ, four candles on stage represented those who died, and seven more were lit for those who were injured in the shooting.
The teenage suspect in the shooting, Ethan Crumbley, will be tried as an adult, and has been charged with one count of terrorism causing death, four counts of first-degree murder, seven counts of assault with intent to murder and 12 counts of possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, according to the Detroit Free Press.
