Excited Dog Welcomes Owner Home From Military Deployment

Mississippi resident Alexis Moore captured this heartwarming video of her dog excitedly welcoming her husband, Tyler Moore, home to Gulfport after a seven-month military deployment.

The video shows three-year-old German Shepherd mix Lulu eagerly cuddling and licking Tyler. The couple’s daughter was also trying to welcome her father home but the delighted canine was not in the mood to share his owner’s affections with the rest of the family.

Alexis told Storyful her husband is a third class Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy and is serving as a mechanic in the U. S. Naval Construction Battalions. Credit: Alexis Moore via Storyful
