Though winter is long, grey and snowy, sometimes even the coldest days can be funny and they can bring joy to our hearts. The snow has a purity that elevates our spirit and the nature covered all in white is made as pristine as a book ready for new stories. One dog’s creativity is surging and dancing in the snow with the delight of a child. Meet Tyson that really loves to slide on his belly through the snow. Check out that distance! When we look at him, the coldness upon our face feels refreshing and for one brief moment we forget that winter has come. There are those of us who hate wintertime and all that snow. Then there are those of us who, given a chance, would love to hurl ourselves headlong into the snow and slide away forever. This French bulldog is just like that. In an adorable, too-brief video, the dog gathers speed and he ventures into an exhilarating slide. He hurls himself against the ground, leaving a long skid mark. If dogs could laugh, we know we'd be hearing some delighted cries of joy. While most of us want to stay at home and get comfortable in front of the fireplace, for this French Bulldog winter can’t be funnier and more exciting. While watching the video, there is a part of us that hopes it does snow, mainly because we love to replay the video all over again just to see Tyson’s ingenious slide. Our response to his sliding technique is one long and loud “Wheeeee! Wheeeee! Snow!” This Frenchie is capable of “Whee!”-ing and that is exactly what he is doing while sliding across in the snow on his face. He’s delighted by the slippery accumulation on the ground, and what better way to show that then by moving smoothly with the speed of light. Whatever the turf, we hope he continues to go slip sliding away.
