Heavy Rain Submerges Brooklyn Street

Streets in Brooklyn were inundated with floodwater on July 22 as severe weather affected New York City.

The National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn, as well as surrounding areas, until 8.45 pm on Monday. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for The Bronx and Yonkers, as well as Paterson, New Jersey, until 6 pm.
