Helicopters Used to Contain Cape Town's Table Mountain Fire

Helicopters continued to drop water on the fire burning in Cape Town’s Table Mountain National Park on April 20.

Local media reported that South African National Defence Force helicopters were deployed to hoist water on Tuesday morning as strong winds died down.

The fire started on Sunday, April 18, and reached the University of Cape Town, where students were evacuated and a library building was destroyed.
