Kitten Lolls From Violinist's Belt Bag as She Plays

A French violinist has come up with a clever solution to her kitten crying for her every time she practices, and also given the little cat the best seat in the house as she plays.

Rémila the kitten was abandoned, Esther Abrami said, and rescued by the shelter Association Féli-Cité in Aix-en-Provence. Her family acted as the kitten’s host, she said on Instagram. “When she arrived she was less than 400 grams, scared and had breathing issues from having stayed outside for several days. I’m happy to say that after seven days of milk bottles and constant cuddles Rémila has now become one of the friendliest cats I’ve ever seen.”

The only problem was that she refused to be left on the floor, Abrami said. But, as this video of her playing Fauré’s Aprés un Rêve shows, she found the perfect solution. Rémila is by turns rapt and napping in her fanny pack as she plays. Credit: Esther Abrami via Storyful
