Looting Takes Place as Protests Grip Philadelphia Following Fatal Police Shooting

Looting was reported in parts of Philadelphia late on Monday, October 27, after the city was gripped by protests following the fatal police shooting of a black man in West Philadelphia.

Protests erupted after video of the fatal shooting earlier in the day circulated on social media. Officers can be heard telling the victim to drop a knife before multiple gunshots are heard. Local media identified the man shot as Walter Wallace Jr.
