North Korea and South Korea played out a scoreless draw behind closed doors in Pyongyang on October 15, with Sweden’s Ambassador Joachim Bergström documenting events inside the stadium.

The match, a qualifier for the 2022 World Cup, marked the first time North Korea had hosted its neighbors in 30 years. The last qualifier between the two was in 2009. It ended 1-0 to the South, amid accusations from Pyongyang that the North’s players were poisoned.
