Ohio Police and Firefighters Rescue Deer Trapped in Fence

Firefighters and police officers in Euclid, Ohio, joined forces recently to free a young deer trapped in a fence.

Footage shared by the Euclid Fire Department on Thursday, November 14, shows the team effort to squeeze the deer out of a fence on Beckford Avenue after part of the fence was removed with an angle grinder.

Police said the fawn’s mother was waiting nearby.

“Euclid FD and PD worked to free a deer pinned in a fence on Beckford Ave. Mom was nearby watching and waiting to be reunited with her baby. All in a day’s work!” police wrote. Credit: Euclid Fire Department via Storyful
