Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) passengers were relegated to shuttle bus service after a “power problem” disrupted train service between Maverick and Bowdoin stations in Boston on July 17, according to the MBTA.

WBUR reported that passengers on the MBTA Blue Line near Government Center had to evacuate by exiting the train cars into the tunnel and crossing the tracks. The MBTA announced that normal service had resumed by approximately 10 am local time.
