Police in Louisville, Kentucky, unloaded several volleys of non-lethal rounds on a car parked along the sidewalk on the evening of May 31, according to a reporter at the scene.

This video was recorded on West Broadway, near the intersection with 4th Street, in central Louisville. According to WFPL reporter Jess Clark, several women inside the car had been yelling at police, who later fired what she described as “pepper balls” at the vehicle. About a half minute into the footage, the car is hit multiple times with rounds that create small clouds of smoke, and lead bystanders to cough.

“They were yelling and now they are getting blasted with pepper balls,” Clark can be heard saying in the video.
