A rescue team helped a leopard to freedom after the animal fell into a well in Maharashtra, India, on September 15.

Footage by Muvvala Kondala Rao, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests with the Maharashtra Forest Department, shows members of the department’s Rapid Rescue Team in the Buldhana district pulling the trapped animal to safety.

The team lowered down a makeshift raft for the leopard to clamber on to. It made it’s way to the top and eventually to safety.
