River Ouse Overflows Onto York Streets

Flood alerts and warnings were issued across Yorkshire, England, on Tuesday, February 25, as the River Ouse continued to overflow its banks, the Environment Agency (EA) reported.

The river peaked at just over 14 and a half feet (4.5 m) on Monday morning, local media reported. York residents were warned not to drive through floodwaters.
