Timelapse footage filmed through the night of July 1 to July 2 captured the northern lights dancing over North Dakota’s Golden Lake.

In this footage shot by Kelsey Byre, green and pink dance over the quiet waters throughout the night.

She previously told Storyful: “When the beams reach high up and there [are] clusters, it feels like our loved ones all dancing above us.”
