Twin Funnel Clouds Form Near Dallas Center, Iowa

Two funnel clouds in Dallas Center, Iowa, were spotted from nearby Waukee on Tuesday, May 26, as all of central Iowa was under a tornado watch, reports said.

The NWS said there had been a “few touchdowns” in Dallas County, Iowa, as it tracked possible tornadoes across the state. The weather service placed dozens of counties under the tornado watch, which was put in effect until 8 pm.
