Workers Disinfect House of Kirkuk Family Infected With Coronavirus

Officials in the Iraqi city of Kirkuk on Wednesday, February 26, sprayed disinfectant around the house of a family of four that the health ministry, in a statement on Tuesday, said had contracted COVID-19, the disease caused by the novel coronavirus.

The ministry also confirmed on Thursday that a man who returned from Iran to Baghdad had been diagnosed with the virus. An Iranian student in Najaf was confirmed on Tuesday to have been infected, the ministry said.
