Thunderstorms sparked a series of weather warnings in New York and New Jersey on July 6 as severe weather hit much of the tri-state area.
The National Weather Service issued severe thunderstorm and “flash flood” warnings for the region until 7 pm.
“Worst storm I have ever seen in Morristown, NJ. Heavy wind, thunder lightning and heavy hail. Most rain in 30 minutes I have ever seen. Lightning strikes all over. And it’s not over,” Brian Mulligan posted to Twitter with these videos showing the inclement weather. Credit: Brian Mulligan via Storyful
