Gigantic Hot Dog Artwork Unveiled in Times Square Crowds gathered in the middle of Times Square on Tuesday, April 30, to see a new art installation unveiled in the area – a 65-foot-long hot dog. The playful artwork, named ‘Hot Dog in the City,’ was created by the Brooklyn-based artist duo Jen Catron and Paul Outlaw, reports said, and pays homage to the hot dog’s prominence in American culture. The piece is equipped with hydraulics and a confetti cannon, with public events including condiment debates, a hot dog eating contest, and a “hottest dog” dachshund beauty pageant being organized around the installation. ‘Hot Dog in the City’ will be on view through June 13, according to the report.
