A group of armed black protesters gathered in Georgia on July 4 before marching into Stone Mountain Park, which is home to a carving of Confederate leaders. Stone Mountain was where the Ku Klux Klan reformed in 1915.

The armed group reportedly marched through the park, leaving with an escort from Stone Mountain Park Police.

11Alive.com reported the group were calling for the removal of Confederate-era monuments.
