Arrests Made As Police End 'Unlawful Occupation' Outside Albany Police Station

Eight arrests were made during a confrontation between police and protesters outside a police station in Albany, New York, on April 22, police said.

Police Chief Eric Hawkins said police had ended an “unlawful occupation” outside South Station in Albany that had lasted for several days.

According to local media outlets demonstrators set up camp outside Albany police’s South Station following the actions of local officers during an anti-police brutality protest.
