'Beautiful Scenes' as Bristol Balloon Fiesta Holds Flypast Due to COVID Restrictions

Locals in Bristol were invited to watch participants in the 2020 Bristol International Balloon Fiesta from their own doorsteps and gardens on August 3, as the festival held an inaugural “flypast” due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Organizers kept the launch location secret, to prevent people from gathering for what usually attracts half-a-million visitors.
