Protesters took to the streets of Boston on April 18, calling for justice for Daunte Wright who was shot dead by police in Minnesota.

Protests had been held for over a week since Wright was killed during a police traffic stop in Brooklyn Center on Sunday, April 11. Demonstrations outside the city’s police department inspired similar protests in other cities, including in Boston as seen in this video.

Brooklyn Center Officer Kim Potter was charged with second-degree manslaughter over Wright’s death. Officials said Potter mistook her Taser for a handgun when she shot Wright, according to news reports. Credit: aitabruno via Storyful
