Building Collapses in Mumbai as Heavy Rain Continues to Batter City

At least two people died and one person was injured when a portion of a building collapsed in Mumbai’s Fort area on Thursday afternoon, July 16, as heavy rain hit the city for the third day in a row, according to local media.

Fire engines, rescue vans, and ambulances attended the scene to remove debris and look for residents potentially trapped under the rubble, local media reported.

This video shows emergency services at the scene.
