Crews are investigating the cause of a fast-moving wildfire in Spain’s Catalonia region that was stabilized hours after breaking out on Friday, September 22, local officials said.

The fire was reported around 2:50 pm and grew quickly, but slowed down a few hours later due to the nature of the terrain, Catalonia officials said. Emergency personnel received 224 calls related to the fire, which burned 62 acres (25 hectares), officials said.
