Connecticut Police Officers Rescue Woman From Burning Car

Police officers in Bridgeport, Connecticut, were praised for their heroic actions after they rescued a woman from a burning car on Tuesday, February 25.

According to reports, Officer Ramirez of the Bridgeport police arrived at the scene of a single-vehicle crash on Chopsey Hill Road early Tuesday morning. Ramirez found the vehicle on its side with a woman still inside.

Police said Ramirez tried and failed to pull out the woman through the passenger window before she was joined by other police officers.

Footage released by the department shows officers working together to push the vehicle back on its wheels and pull the driver out through the passenger window.
