Numerous Spirit Airlines passengers said they were stranded at several airports for days, after the airline canceled hundreds of flights, according to reports.

Video filmed by Angela Sunday Cobb shows passengers lined up in front of the Spirit Airlines Counter at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

“Spirit Airlines, y’all are definitely not the MVP right now. This is horrible. We have been at this airport since yesterday Monday Aug 2 at 7 pm, and it’s 8:07am and we don’t have a flight. No answers, no nothing. Thousands of people have been stranded here since Sunday MORNING Aug 1!!!!” Cobb wrote on Instagram.

“We are experiencing operational challenges in some areas of our network,” Spirit said in a tweet on August 2.

Reports said Spirit canceled flights in several locations, including Puerto Rico, Orlando, and Las Vegas.

The Association of Flight Attendants-CWA released a statement denying that the Spirit Airlines cancellations were due to an employee strike.

The AFA said, “Spirit Airlines is experiencing operational issues causing flight delays and cancellations due to weather, schedule month changeover, and IT outages. A few news outlets have incorrectly reported that this may be due to a strike. This is not true. There is no flight attendant strike. Crews are not the issue. Management is proactively cancelling flights today to recover the operation and prevent further disruption for passengers.” Credit: Angela Sunday Cobb via Storyful
