Dad Organizes Epic Treasure Hunt After Daughter Discovers 'Mysterious' Door

A father in Flagstaff, Arizona, gave his daughter a memory to cherish when he helped organize a treasure hunt on March 30 after she noticed the door to the attic for the first time and wondered what might be inside.

Jason Robinson decided to make a treasure hunt for his three-year-old daughter, Emma, complete with a hand-drawn map and a plastic “treasure” box.

In a series of tweets, Jason explained how he hid the box for Emma to find in the attic, while his mother-in-law drew a map featuring landmarks around their home that Emma was familiar with.

Using the map, Emma found the key to the locked box hidden in an envelope outside, then opened the box to retrieve her newfound treasure – a necklace.

“I’m a great finder,” Emma says.
