Fire Crews and Sailors Tackle Blaze Aboard US Navy Ship for Second Day

Federal Fire Department San Diego firefighters and US Navy sailors were tackling a fire aboard the USS Bonhomme Richard for a second day on July 13, the Navy said.

The fire was reported at 11:30 am on July 12, the Navy said. Thirty-six sailors and 23 civilians were treated for minor injuries, the Navy said, but no one remained in hospital.
