A flock of turkeys were seen crossing a road near a Nebraska village on the eve of Thanksgiving, prompting local police to joke that it could have been a “great turkey escape”.

This footage, recorded by Nebraska State Trooper Sackett, shows the turkeys in a line as they cross a road near Stockville, in Frontier County, before flying off.
