Hail Rains Down in Arlington During Sunday Morning Storms Across Dallas-Fort Worth Area

Storms over eastern Texas brought hail, rain, and high winds through Sunday, April 19, with some residents reporting golf ball-sized hail.

The National Weather Service (NWS) alerted western Louisiana and eastern Texas residents of strong storms moving over the area, spurring a tornado watch for several counties. A severe thunderstorm warning was issued Sunday morning for Arlington and the Dallas-Fort Worth region.

The storms were predicted to continue through Sunday afternoon, according to local media forecasts.
