Light Poles at LAX Glow Purple and Gold in Tribute to Kobe Bryant

A light display at LAX swapped its usual multicolored hues for purple and gold on January 26, to honor LA Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, who died in a helicopter crash that day.

Footage by Ken Eisner shows the lighted poles at LAX flashing in the Lakers colors in tribute to the NBA great.
