Lightning Flashes as Storm Obscures New York City Skyline

Thousands of people were left without power after a thunderstorm passed over New Jersey and nearby states, local media reported.

This video, filmed by Dolana Lipari, shows rain falling and flashes of lightning as the storm obscures her apartment’s view of the New York City skyline. The video was filmed from a high-rise apartment complex in Union City, New Jersey, directly across the Hudson River from Midtown Manhattan.
