Loose Horses Get Police Escort Back to the Pen in Dekalb County

A herd of horses delayed traffic along US-78 near Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, March 17, creating a spectacle and traffic delays. The horses escaped from Little Creek Horse Farm, according to a Facebook post from the farm.

“Yes our horses did decide to take a trip up 78 this morning. Thanks for everyone’s patience who sat on the freeway while we corralled them. A HUGE shout out to the Dekalb police who responded quickly and efficiently, keeping people and horses safe. Steps will immediately be taken to assure this doesn’t happen again,” the post said.
