Malibu Campground Flooded Following Heavy Rainfall

A campground at Leo Carrillo State Park in Malibu, California, flooded on Thursday, December 30, after overnight rains caused a nearby creek to overflow, according to local media.

This video released by Malibu Emergency Preparedness Solutions on Twitter shows water coursing through the main parking lot of the campground.

Malibu Emergency Preparedness Solutions said multiple stranded families had been rescued, and that there was a heavy presence of fire equipment on site to deal with the situation.
