Dozens of vehicles lined up outside US Bank Plaza in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, on April 8, protesting and rallying for the suspension of rent and mortgages in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

According to reports, the vehicles replaced the traditional march in a time of social distancing. Most participants stayed inside their vehicles, while some wore face masks on street corners in the demonstration.

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz put a moratorium on evictions, but some activists have demanded action regarding the payment of rent, the report said. Credit: CTUL via Storyful
