Mother and Son Enjoy Sliding Down Icy Driveway in Memphis

A driveway in Memphis, Tennessee, was used as the perfect sledding hill by a mother and son after an ice storm swept through the region on February 1.

A video shared to Twitter by Kirsten Hall shows her son joyously sliding down the steep, ice-covered driveway on his belly. Hall can then be seen going down on a sled herself, joining in on the fun. 

“This video is [of] my 10-year-old child, Taylor, doing what he loves to do,” Hall said. 

The National Weather Service warned residents across Memphis that “another tenth of an inch or so of ice” would accumulate on Thursday. Credit: Kirsten Hall via Storyful
