Photographer Captures Slow-Motion Lightning Bolt During Rhode Island Thunderstorm

Thunderstorms rolled across Providence, Rhode Island, bringing strong winds, hail and lightning to the area on July 14.

Photographer Mike Cohea documents weather across all of New England and managed to capture part of the severe weather in slow motion.

This footage shows a stunning lightning bolt, followed by flashes of light in the gray clouds.
