Police in Portland were filmed pushing someone to the ground on September 23 as a riot was declared in the wake of a grand jury decision regarding the fatal police shooting of Breonna Taylor.

Former Louisville police officer Brett Hankison was charged with three counts of wanton endangerment. Sgt Jonathan Mattingly and Det Myles Cosgrove, the other two officers who fired their weapons while trying to serve a search warrant on Taylor’s apartment, were not charged.

The decision sparked protests across the US.
