Possible Tornado Spotted Near Troy Municipal Airport in Alabama

A possible tornado was reported near Troy in Alabama’s Pike County on Tuesday, March 31, as storms moved across the state.

This video was shot by Kyle Stiffler, who told Storyful he filmed it at 10.40 am at Troy Municipal Airport.

Strong to severe storms were forecast for southeastern Alabama on Tuesday, with the National Weather Service (NWS) issuing multiple tornado warnings. The NWS said it received several reports of significant structural damage south of Eufaula in Barbour County, on the state border with Georgia, where local media reported that a suspected tornado shattered more than a dozen homes as people were hunkered down as a result of the coronavirus outbreak.
