Raccoon Browses for Bargains at Toronto Best Buy

A bargain-hunting raccoon caused some havoc at a Best Buy store in Toronto on November 21.

Footage by Jamie Muir shows the critter, who appears to be soaking wet, walking through the aisles of the store.

“He just wandered in the front door while no one was paying attention and made his way to the back of the store,” Muir told local media.

“We tried corralling him to the front door but he absolutely didn’t want to leave because clearly it was awful outside and it was nice and warm inside,” he added.

According to the same report, when the animal was finally captured, it was released behind the storefront, where it wandered off “unscathed and relatively unbothered”. Credit: Jamie Muir via Storyful
