Rainbow Appears Above Cascading Niagra Falls

Ontario, Canada, resident Brenda Bowes went to Niagara Falls on April 6 and was pleasantly surprised to discover that a rainbow that had formed above the waterfall.

Bowes recorded a video on her cell phone that shows the stunning rainbow above the falls, with the Rainbow Bridge appearing on one side of the frame, before she pans the camera to show the rushing water beneath her.

Bowes, who frequently visits Niagara Falls, says that she tries to go as often as she can since she lives nearby.

With the coronavirus pandemic taking place around the world, Bowes appreciates the falls even more than normal, telling Storyful that “during difficult times the Falls is my spiritual and healing place.” Credit: Brenda Bowes via Storyful
