Remnants of Hurricane Sally Bring Flooding to Georgia

The remnants of Hurricane Sally brought flooding rain to Warner Robins, Georgia, on September 17 as the storm continued to affect southern states after making landfall the day before.

The storm made landfall near Gulf Shores, Alabama, as a Category 2 system early on September 16, bearing winds of up to 105 miles per hour, according to the National Hurricane Center.
