Royal Navy Fires 96-Round Salute to Queen in Gibraltar

The sound of cannons rang out over Gibraltar on Friday, September 9, as they were fired to mark the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The Gibraltar squadron, a unit of the Royal Navy, fired 96 rounds at Gibraltar harbor, one for every year of the queen’s life.
